Amarnath Shiva Cave Temple

Hindus believe this is the place where Shiva explained the secret of life and eternity to his divine consort, Parvati. Lidder Valley, where the cave is located, has a number of glaciers.

Aru Valley

The Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows. It is popular among the tourists for its peaceful environment and scenic beauty.

Dal Lake

The urban lake, is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the “Jewel in the crown of Kashmir” or “Srinagar's Jewel”.

Betab Valley

Betaab Valley is also a favorite campsite of travelers as it also serves as a base camp for trekking and further exploration of the mountains. The valley is a walk-able distance from Pahalgam.


Gulmarg has attracted millions of tourists throughout its existence with the scenic beauty of the Himalayan Mountains in the back drop. One of the main attractions in Gulmarg is the Gulmarg Gondola, the Highest Cable Car in the world.

Hazratbal Shrine

Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar is a famous mosque that holds high reverence amongst Muslims. According to local beliefs, it houses Moi-e-Muqqadas – the sacred hair of Prophet Muhammad's beard.

Nigeen Lake

Nigeen Lake is a mildly eutrophic lake located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is sometimes considered a part of the Dal lake and is connected to it via a narrow strait.

Nishant Garden

Popularly known as the ‘Garden of Bliss’, the Nishat Garden or Nishat Bagh, is the second-largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir Valley, after Shalimar Bagh and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Srinagar.
