Day 1: Pick up from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. You will feel the elevation as it’s a big jump from sea-level to 3500 meters, and it will take your body a few days to adjust to this altitude. Day 2: After breakfast, full day excursion to various Monastaries/Gompas in and around Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastry (19 Kms) and from there drive to Shey Monastry.
