Day 1: Pick up from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Complete rest for acclimatization is must for rest of the day to avoid high altitude sickness. You will feel the elevation as it’s a big jump from sea-level to 3500 meters, and it will take your body a few days to adjust to this altitude. It’s very important to drink plenty of water, and to not over-exert yourself while wandering around Leh. Even walking up the stairs of the hotel will make you breathless for the first day or two. Day 2: After breakfast, full day excursion to various Monastaries/Gompas in and around Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastry (19 Kms) and from there drive to Shey Monastry. After that, drive further to visit Hemis Monastry (40 Kms from Leh). Hemis Monastry is one of the famous Monastries and is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Back to Leh in the evening. En route, visit Stok Palace and Museum. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Khardung La Pass (40 Kms) which is famous for the highest motorable road in the world and is also gateway to Nubra valley. Drive to Khardung La will be an ultimate adventure of your life. Have a magnificent view of the surrounding valleys. Day 3: Ule - Nubra Valley Post breakfast in the morning, check out from the resort or camp and head to the Nubra Valley. Arrive at Hunder by later afternoon and check into the camp. Later, proceed to visit Diskit, Hunder villages and have a camel safari in the sand dunes. Return back to the camp for a scrumptious dinner and overnight adventurous stay.
Day 4: Nubra Valley - Leh Post breakfast, check out from the camp and proceed to Leh. Enroute visit Diskit Monastery. On your arrival in the later afternoon, check into the hotel in Leh. Visit top attractions of Leh such as Hemis, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace and Hall of Fame. After sight-seeing, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: : Leh - Pangong Lake Post breakfast in the early morning, check out from the hotel and depart for Pangong Lake which is at 14,500 ft. through Changla Pass (3rd highest motorable road in the world). On arrival, check into the camp where you will be served a scrumptious and hot lunch. Later, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Pangong Lake and watch the sunset. Day 6: :Pangong Lake - Leh - Delhi Early morning, relish your breakfast and mesmerize your eyes with the breathtaking views of the sunrise at the lake. Day 1: Delhi - Jammu Meet our representative in Jammu at a decided place and embark your journey at 8 am in the morning. Your road journey would start at 6 am in the morning. The route followed would be: Jammu - Srinagar - Sonamarg - Drass - Kargil. Places to explore on the way are Dal Lake, Shikara ride in Srinagar, Zero Point, Drass War Memorial, view of Tiger Hill, Elephant Ridge and Kargil War Memorial. At 9 pm in the night, have dinner in the camp and stay overnight in Kargil.
Day 2: Kargil - Leh Post breakfast in the camp, leave from Kargil at 9 am. The route followed would be: Kargil - Mulbekh - Fotu La Pass - Leh. Places to explore on the way are Buddha statue in Mulbekh, Fotu La Pass, Chiktan Fort, Lamayuru Monastery, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and confluence of Indus-Zanskar river. On your arrival in the late evening in Leh, check into the pre-booked hotel, have a scrumptious dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Leh - Nubra Valley - Leh Post breakfast in the morning, drive to Nubra Valley via the Khardung La Pass, highest motorable road in the world. It takes around 5 hours to drive till Nubra Valley. On the way, visit Diskit Monasteries, Hunder sand dunes, Baigdandu village, Panamik hot water springs, Yarab Tso Lake and Lachung Temple. Day 4: Leh - Pangong Tso Post breakfast in the morning, drive to Pangong Tso via the Chang La - third highest motorable road in world. On the way, visit places like Thicksey, Shey Monasteries, Hemis and the famous Pangong Tso lake. Dinner around campfire and overnight stay in the camp arranged for you in Pangong Tso.
Day 5: Pangong Tso - Tso Kar After a hot tea and healthy breakfast in the camp, check out and proceed to drive to Tso Kar. It takes around 8 hours to reach there by car. On the way, visit various tourist attractions. On your arrival in Tso Kar, visit the Tso Kar lake which is also known as White Lake. Adventurous overnight camping, dinner around campfire and musical performance at the camp in Tso Kar Lake.
Day 6:Tso Kar - Keylong After breakfast, drive through the most scenic route till Keylong which takes around 8-10 hours. Visit famous attractions like Lachalung, Lakeela, Suraj Tal, Deepak Tal, Gaata Loops and Baralacha Pass. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp in Keylong.
Day 7: Keylong - Manali Post breakfast in the morning, check out from camp and drive to Manali. Visit top attractions on the way such as Rohtang Pass, Old Manali, Apple Orchards, etc. Indulge in adventurous activities in Rohtang Pass. Day 1: ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer to Hotel Houseboat for Check in. Rest of the day is free. In the evening you take a shikara ride on world famous Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. Day 3: SRINAGAR TO KARGIL (VIA SONMARG) – 204 KMS / 6 TO 7 HOUR ONE WAY Post breakfast we drive to Leh via Sonmarg also knows as Meadow of Gold, In somarg one can take a pony ride (at additional cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains roud the year. Further we drive towards Kargil enroute crossing Drass Village (2nd Coldest inhabitate in the world) and have a magnificient view of Kargil War famous peaks (Tiger & Tololing) and pay tribute to Vijay Smarak (The War Memorial) located right on Highway at the base of tololing. After reaching Kargil we check in at our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: KARGIL TO LEH (VIA LAMAYURU) Post breakfast we drive to Sham Valley enroute visiting 11th Century Lamayuru Monastery enroute visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of Land are visible as on the moon), Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides. Later we proceed further to Leh enroute stopping at to sight the Confluence of The Indus And Zanskar River just after 4 from Nimmu and further to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Upon arrival in Leh you will met by our representative and check in at our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,390 FT. (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS) After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Diskit for overnight stay in a camp.
Day 6: NUBRA VALLEY – LEH (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS) In the morning visit / explore Diskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel. Later we drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh you will check in to your Hotel. In the afternoon you can rest and relax.
Day 7: LEH TO PANGONG LAKE (140 KMS / 4 - 5 HRS – ONE WAY) Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay.
Day 8: : PANGONG-HEMIS / THIKSEY-LEH (165 KMS.) After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. The helicopter operates between 6:00 a.m. And 5:00 p.m. Helicopter Services is subject to weather conditions. Helicopter operates till Panchtarni then 6 kms. Trek from Panchtarni to Amarnath cave.
